Slovenia to Iceland, Bike to Ski: Wild Tales, Wrong Turns, and the Restoration of Faith in People

Ted is absolutely nuts about where he can travel on a bike. From pedaling across Slovenia to bike-to-ski missions and wild stretches of Iceland, he’s collected guiding stories that went gloriously wrong and moments of magic that have restored his belief in people.

Ted asks: how can a bicycle bridge communities, build economically supportive networks, and keep us continuous with our own physical existence, with no liminal “practical zone” in between? Expect honest detours, hard-won restoration, and the kind of philosophical tangents that are tough to avoid when the subject is a bike.
